The disc isn't new, but the playing surfaces are near-perfect and show almost no signs of wear when studied under direct light. It sounds as good as it did when brand new. The labels are close to perfect, with no more than the lightest ‘spindle’ marks around the hole.

They say rare records are rare because they attract trouble, and this is a classic example. I found this in a shed in Scotland amongst a pile of pretty decent records. All the other records were intact, but this happened to be at the bottom where a pool of water had collected at the corner. If it was one record above, it would have been unscathed! Anyway, as you can see the sleeve is not pretty, but the disc barely looks played. Minute evidence of play. The Head Hunters inner is also in lovely condition, but the insert has suffered with the sleeve. Message me with any questions. Cheers!
