Cover Condition

EX
Excellent

The cover has slight imperfections such as mild creasing, but no splits, writing, or obvious damage.

Disc Condition

EX
Excellent

The disc shows signs of having been played, but there are barely any marks or surface noise, and the labels show only light signs of use.

Description

1971 UK compilation - Originally released in the US in 1969 as "Django Reinhardt" on the Archive Of Folk Music label.

This is a lovely collection of mainly original Django tunes which has been processed in "Stereo Enhanced Mono" to give a twin-channel stereo effect - bearing in mind all these tunes were originally recorded in the 1940's, sometimes in fairly primitive environments.

The cover is in very nice condition with only a little laminate lift to top left corner of front & a light crease across the back bottom left corner but the colour of the sleeve makes this barely visible.

Disc is nice and shiny with just a few wispy hairlines to be seen under bright light - plays great throughout with only a little background crackle here & there (and most of that is probably due to the original tapes).

A really nice album with some nifty guitar work.

Will combine postage for multiple purchases, as a general rule I can get 3 single-sleeve albums in one mailer, obviously gatefold sleeves & double-albums will count as two items. If you have any problems with postage discounts at checkout please contact me before purchasing.
