The cover has noticeable faults, such as light creases and ringwear, but nothing major.

The disc isn't new, but the playing surfaces are near-perfect and show almost no signs of wear when studied under direct light. It sounds as good as it did when brand new. The labels are close to perfect, with no more than the lightest ‘spindle’ marks around the hole.

Mick Linnard & David Hughes, Pieces On The Ground, 12 inch vinyl record album, 1st pressing 1980. Folk Acid Jazz Music on the scarce Folkland Jazzman Label 1980, FL1022. Note in the credits on reverse of sleeve, vocal harmonies Eddy Reader(miss print in the spelling), should be spelt Eddi, Ms Reader from the 80s band Fairground Attraction. The record is also signed on reverse by band member Rol Walker: (Congas, Percussions) in blue biro ink. These were very small independent labels with very low pressings, most under 1000 copies per artist. These folk jazz labels are scarce to rare, very collectable and sought after by folk vinyl collector.
Condition: Visual inpection only. The picture sleeve is very good or better with light staining on front bottom near title and same on reverse pluse odd knicks/knocks on corners, light ring wear,
