BBR is proud to be releasing this EP, Ciel's second physical release, as well as it containing 2 exclusive tracks, recorded while the band members were in isolation, recorded just for you. It comes on heavyweight vinyl too....weights a ton. Not only that but it comes in one of 6 double sided sleeves with a gatefold insert, one of 10 numbered group photos and a sealed envelope containing BBR Letter, Ciel Postcard, Sticker set, personalised confetti, a small 'signed' A5 poster & download code. Ciel have perfectly blended raw shoegazer guitars & a live band with dreamy blissed electropop electronics reminiscent of such pioneers as Ulrich Schnauss, M83 and even a bit of Tim Hecker. This is 6 tracks of perfect electro-dreampop from the twinkling opener 'The Shore', the reach-for-the-sky jangling guitars of 'Days', its layered vocal harmonies and a chorus hook to die for! 'Wasn't Enough For Me' closes the first side, one of the new, exclusive track of glitched, crackling electronics with Cocteau Twins shimmers of guitar. Side 2 starts with ' Same Old Times With U' kicking in before changing gear and heading off into a dark driving fuzzed-out stomper! A short glitchy instrumental piece breaks the side up before 'Its Not All The Same' ends the EP with its lush summer evening sleepy ballad vibe before the drums kick in at the last minute sending us off to the stars..its quite a beautiful closer.
