Cover Condition
The cover has noticeable faults, such as light creases and ringwear, but nothing major.
Disc Condition
The disc has been played a number of times but has been well looked after, showing only light marks. The labels might show slightly heavier signs of wear but are not damaged.
Description
Numbered Limited Edition Canadian 1st Pressing (1989)!
Lovely example, the gatefold cover is in nice shape with just a few areas of rubbing/corner wear (mainly to left of front & spine). The worst bit of wear is to the top of the spine where the "Fontana" is printed but it's not bad by any means. The interior has some very light moisture staining which runs in a thin band up the inner spine & then goes along the top of both sides (see last few photos), again it's not obtrusive. This also shows a little to the back cover up on the top right section.
Has the "Ever Reddy" tiny logo to bottom right of back cover & also the metallic printed edition number (08247) in the centre at the bottom. I wouldn't think that more than 10 to 20,000 of this were pressed as vinyl was dying a death in 1989. The original blue-printed paper inner has very light creasing.
The disc has a few wispy hairlines & cloudy "dotting" in places (pressing marks?) but no nasty scratches or scuffs. Plays beautifully with a little light crackle to run-in of side 1 & a couple of very light ticks on last track of side 2 (which is the quietest track in the album). Variant 1 A2 / B2 matrices are hand-etched in the runouts.
Overall condition of this album is nearer EX really - it's a very collectible album in need of a new home as I now have a pristine 1st UK pressing (and the average price of this is around £50 on the other site beginning with D!).
Will combine postage for multiple purchases, as a general rule I can get 3 single-sleeve albums in one mailer, obviously gatefold sleeves & double-albums will count as two items. If you have any problems with postage discounts at checkout please contact me before purchasing.
